Christmas Hat – First Circular Knitting Experience

So, I completed some Christmas hats (Otis is modeling one) – my first circular knitting experience and it went pretty well – I twisted the stitches initally but I figured out how to avoid that once I did it a few times. I used Lamb’s Pride Bulky and the colors I chose are pretty mod and hip. I also had to use double pointed needles once the top started to shrink but I’m pretty geeked with how nice they all turned out and they make great gifts. The pattern is the Adult Ski Hat from Mountain Colors and is real easy and fun. I highly recommend this for a newer knitter.

Since all my projects are finished, I am anxiously awaiting my ordered yarn and pattern to make my first sweater – I will be using Blizzard yarn for a Knitting Pure and Simple Pattern Design. I can only call Rae’s Yarn Boutique so many times before she puts out a stalker charge on me :-)

  • Good looking hat (and Otis too). I used to have the same problem with twisiting stitches when I started on circulars.

I will definately stay posted on future projects and more pictures of your animals. I’m a dog and cat lover as well.

    Good luck on your sweater!–>
