Tiny infants always look so worried. As though they’re afraid you’re going to drop them or put their diapers on their heads or forget they’re there…it’s so much fun when they start smiling. And it only gets better from here.
Awww… that’s so cute! I don’t blame you for taking a hiatus. I’ve enjoyed following your story. My first son was born at 25 weeks so I can relate to the NICU stuff. I’m currently pregnant with my second son at 36 weeks.
Ohhhhhh…they are so cute. Feel free to blog lots of smiley pictures. I love it when they smile when they’re babies, because it’s so completely genuine.
I remember when my baby boy first smiled. I was dancing his Paddington Bear rattler around him as he lay in his carseat and talking to him, using my best Paddington bear voice. That first smile was magic … pure magic.
Now my baby boy is 12 years old and, as of two days ago, officially 1/4″ taller than I am. You can’t imagine how much he gloats.
You’re a goner!! Just write off any backboone you think you may have. Those will still be their smiles when they’re 5 and they’ve snuck into the chocolate pudding and used it for finger paint, when they’re ten and they get too rough playing and ruin their best cloths, when they’re teenagers and they accidently swear in front of you for the first time. My husband says my boys know how to work me, I say I’m a sucker for that sweet smile. I still melt!
too darn cute. ella “talks” now, and has even laughed out loud. it’s just too much fun!
we missed you on wednesday. i will be going in to work on wed morn so i can be at tb in the afternoons.
Wow, that picture should be on a box of Wheaties-I couldn’t help but smile too when I saw them! When will they come to Guild-you can come too but what we really want to get our hands on are those two cuties. Pretty please.
I remember the day my daughter first smiled at me. The tears were streaming down my face, and I normally don’t cry much. That did it, though. Babies are just the best!
Those are the most adorable little baby-faces I’ve seen in a long while. Could just “eat them up”. Thanks for posting what you have before a little haitus, it MADE my day. Your Ariann is lovely!
Oh so let’s look at this … no blogging means you are hording those smiling babies to yourself instead of sharing with others. Somehow that doesn’t seem fair.
