Is that a red and white snake in your pants or are you just happy to see me?

So the boys love a good knit toy (you had to know they would) and so many knitters made them some fabulous handknits to add to the toybox.  I threw them out on the floor so they could migrate to the one they wanted and Scrappy INSTANTLY snapped this little guy up and hasn’t let go since:

It dawned of me that is kinda resembled…well…something … Come on, don’t let me spell it out for you.  But then I thought that maybe my psychotherapist training ways were just a little too branded in my noodle and that Sigmund Freud and his phallic obsessions would just need to be dismissed.  I am also certain the knitter of this fine toy had no intention of me or anyone intepreting it as I just had and I chastise myself for even thinking such thoughts.  We headed to the mall with Siggy in tow and began the circuit.  Now let me preface this by also informing you that Scrappy has developed this nice piercing scream and that he really likes to bring it home when he is in either in quiet public places or places that have incredible acoustics (I can now see how even Tiffany made it big starting her career stint as a singer).  So halfway into our walk, I hear the ear-piercing scream and see a few passerbys chuckling.  I smile all proud ’cause I think everyone is just grinning because these guys are so damn cute until I looked down.  My cute little Scrappy decked out in his summer’s finest was holding Siggy the Cat in the Hat penile look-alike (thanks Rob for pointing that reference and visual out) between his legs and laughing and screaming and screaming. Boy body part humor at the rip old age of 8 months.

Speaking of Le Scrapster, his gansey is reaching the home stretch  – just the neckband and seaming to do and c’est fini!

I’ve made some strides on my biz website and the operable links are all up and ready for shopping while the other pages and products are under construction.  I’m still doing a little dusting.

Blogging and knitting will be hit or miss as I cook up products in my lab for my local Farmer’s Market - if you’re local, hope to see you there!
